What we fix

Two problems, done properly

Showers and balconies fail for the same reason — the waterproofing underneath has gone, not the tiles on top. That is why lifting the tiles is usually the wrong answer.

  • Leaking Shower Repairs

Stains on the ceiling below, mould that keeps coming back, a musty smell you cannot place. We find where the water is actually getting in and seal it — through the existing tiles in most cases.

    • No tile removal on most jobs
    • Leak traced before you get a price
    • 10-year waterproofing warranty

  • Leaking Balcony Repairs

Water in the room or unit below, drummy tiles, pooling that never dries. We repair houses, townhouses and whole apartment blocks, and quote strata direct when the balcony is common property.

    • AS 4654 compliant membranes
    • 5-year workmanship warranty

How we do it

Fixed without removing your tiles

The traditional fix is to demolish the shower or strip the balcony, lay a new membrane and retile it. It works, and it costs a fortune, takes a week and leaves you without a bathroom.

We use resin and epoxy injection instead. The resin is introduced through the existing grout lines and travels into the cracks and voids in the substrate below, then cures into a sealed barrier — through the tiles you already have, without touching them.

How resin injection seals a leak without removing tiles Cross-section through a tiled floor. Resin is injected through the grout line, travels into cracks and voids in the substrate below, and cures into a sealed barrier. The tiles are not lifted. Substrate Bed Tiles 1 Injected through the grout line No demolition, no skip bin. 2 Your tiles stay where they are Nothing lifted, nothing matched. 3 Fills the cracks and voids Then cures into a sealed barrier. Resin injection, in cross-section The waterproofing under your tiles has failed — not the tiles on top.

We diagnose before we quote

Water travels. The stain on the ceiling is rarely under the place it is getting in, so we trace it and photograph it first — that is what an evidence-based quote actually means.

Most jobs, no tiles come off

No demolition, no skip bin, no matching a discontinued tile. Most repairs are finished in a day and you keep the bathroom or balcony you already have.

Warranted in writing

10 years on shower waterproofing, 5 years workmanship on balconies, 60 days on service work — supplied with your invoice.

When injection is not the right answer, we say so. If the falls are wrong or the slab itself has failed, no amount of resin fixes that — and we will show you the evidence before recommending the bigger job.

The rest of what we do

Everything here is waterproofing work we do ourselves — we are not subcontracting your bathroom to somebody else.

  • Leak detection

We trace the entry point before quoting, and photograph it, so you are paying to fix the cause rather than the symptom.

  • Regrouting

Perished, cracked or missing grout raked out and replaced — the most common reason a sound shower starts leaking.

  • Epoxy grout

Non-porous and far harder wearing than cement grout. The right call in wet areas that have already failed once.

  • Shower waterproofing

Resin and epoxy injection that seals the substrate under your tiles, backed by a 10-year warranty.

  • Bathroom repairs

Failed junctions, cracked tiles, tired silicone, waste and hob detailing — the repairs that stop a full renovation being necessary.

  • Bathroom renovations

When a bathroom is genuinely past repair we rebuild it properly, waterproofed to standard from the substrate up.

Common questions

The things people ask first

Do you have to remove my tiles to fix the leak?

Usually no. Our resin and epoxy injection system seals the substrate through the existing tiles, so the shower or balcony stays intact. We only recommend a full strip-and-remembrane when the falls are wrong or the slab itself has failed — and we show you the evidence before you commit to that.

How much does a repair cost?

Balcony repairs land between $1,499 and $6,000, depending on the size of the balcony, the condition of the tiles and grout, and how far the water has already travelled. Showers are quoted the same way. You get a fixed written price after the on-site inspection — no hourly rates and no surprises on the day.

What warranty do I get?

10 years on shower waterproofing, 5 years workmanship on balconies, and 60 days on service work. All of it supplied in writing with your invoice.

Which parts of Sydney do you cover?

Sydney metro, Inner West, Southern Sydney & Macarthur. We are based in Campbelltown and travel across the Sydney basin — call 0424 626 557 to confirm your suburb.

My strata says the balcony is common property. Can you still help?

Yes, and it comes up constantly. We provide a written, photographed report identifying the leak source, which is exactly what owners corporations and strata managers need in order to approve the work. We quote the strata directly if that is easier.
